Tucked in a corner at the top of Pewley Hill and backing onto the downs, this is a very peaceful slightly sloping site, with views over St Lukes and the downs beyond. The deer are kept out with a good perimeter fence and the site has easy vehicular access. Local schools and community groups have plots on this site and have won prizes in the Guildford in Bloom competition. The Pewley site has a relaxed atmosphere. The soil is on the chalky side but this does not deter tenants some of whom have had a plot on this site for over 40 years.
