This slightly sloping site sits behind the Lido in the heart of Guildford centre. It has easy vehicular access with a sunny open position. Being next door to the Greenark, it is easy to wander over to the centre to attend composting and other green/organic demonstrations. The site is a very friendly with diverse characters that all have the same aims – to get the most produce, the biggest gooseberry or just the satisfaction of being able to take something home for dinner! The soil is a light loam in which most things grow.
